Ballymun Tidy Towns news
Ballymun was also the category G winner for Dublin City (Tidiest Large Urban Centre, Category G = 15,001 - 25,000). These awards will be on display, as with all previous Ballymun Tidy Towns awards, in the Ballymun Civic Centre atrium beside the coffee dock. See points breakdown for this year, and previous years, below. Get involved The Ballymun Tidy Towns committee was founded in 2006 and consists of representatives from across the Ballymun community. Tidy Towns is not purely a ‘neat and tidy’ competition. It also incorporates wider reaching objectives including overall community approach in various activities such as neighbourhood clean ups, promotion of healthy living (eg. Sli na Slainte’s), encouragement of nature/biodiversity, Green schools, recycling, resource recovery, Smarter Travel, Climate Chanage initiatives and much much more. The Ballymun Tidy Towns Committee would encourage people throughout the community to get involved with the Tidy Towns initiatives in Ballymun. Please feel free to contact any of the committee below to find out more information. Robert Murphy, Manager SuperValu Ballymun
